Home Sweet Home

Oh Nashville, How I missed you!

I got home just in time to be the photographer for my sister for prom. So here's a sneak peak of her pictures that I will hopefully get on Facebook on of these days.
WARNING: My sister is smokin' hot.
My sister, Becca, and her boyfriend, Drew.

All the girls
I spent the next 3 weeks studying for my boards exam and planning my trip to Europe, but mostly studying for boards. I did get to have a little fun, though...I went to a few Predators playoff games!

So we may have been in the nosebleed section, but we had a good time!
FaceOff
Preds Win 4 - 2!!!! Round 2 Bound!
And the crowd goes wild!

When I wasn't at Predators games, I was studying hard. Colorado gave me the okie dokie to take my boards, so I took the National Physical Therapist Exam (NPTE) on Friday, May 6, the day before graduation. Then I went to Chattanooga for Graduation Dinner with my family: My uncle Larry, Grandma & Grandpa, Mom, Dad, Jonathan, & Becca (Jacob was still in classes in NY).
My friend Sarah & I at our Graduation Dinner. This is the only picture I have on my camera...someone else was on picture duty that night.

On Saturday, May 7, I Graduated from the University of Chattanooga with my Doctorate of Physical Therapy. As I walked across the stage and began to get hooded by Dr. Walker, they called my name "Sarah Elizabeth Thompson". Can you believe it? They messed up my name. It was printed clearly on the paper I handed to the announcer, she just repeated the last name of the girl in front of me. She didn't even realize that she had messed it up. My professor told me to just keep going, so I did, but then the Chancellor of UTC congratulated me as Dr. Thompson! It was awful. But then I looked up my boards score
...and I PASSED!!!!

They got my name right! So I guess I can get over my name being wrong at graduation.

The family at Terminal after graduation.

After my graduation lunch, I headed straight back to Nashville for Katie's bridal shower. I made it just in time for the end!
I love these girls!

After that, I spent a day packing for Europe! Next post will be about my trip to the United Kingdom!
