I'm Moving!

As some of you already know, I have accepted a position as a physical therapist in an inpatient rehabilitation hospital in Colorado Springs, CO!

Next week I am flying out there to find a place to live and visit the clinic. Then I'll be moving probably on the 23 of this month. Between now and then I am packing and trying to see absolutely everyone who I care about before I leave. I am unbelievably overwhelmed at the moment.

I can't believe this is all happening so quickly. At the beginning of the summer, I was hoping to have a job and move at the end of July, but, until last week, it didn't look like that would actually be happening. Now I have to pack 24 years of my life, say goodbye to friends and family, and travel 1,100 miles to start my new job.

I asked Tucker (my cat) how he felt about the whole thing...he didn't respond.

Reading over this it sounds like I'm not excited about all this. But I am. I cannot wait to live in such a beautiful place and start treating patients again! It's just that I am going to miss everyone so much and I am not looking forward to moving my stuff yet again...but maybe this time I won't move again for a while, who knows!
