For at least a day or two :)
In honor of the first official day of Spring, I'm sharing pictures of the flowers in our garden! I know that most of you down south have had flowers for weeks, but this is our very first crop. And I couldn't be more excited about it!
Thursday afternoon was so beautiful: the sun was shining, it was over 60degrees outside, and the flowers are starting to bloom! So I took my snack outside, got serenaded by this cute little guy in the picture above, and went town with my camera!
This little guy is in the back yard. When I came home today, there was nothing left of the flowers but the stems...apparently the squirrels like to eat them. Bad squirrels. |
I'm pretty sure this cluster is in the front garden. All of the flowers I have pictures of from Thursday are of crocuses. They close up at night and open again every morning and I think they are phenomenal! |
The garden gnome is guarding these flowers against those mean squirrels.

More pretty crocus flowers |
Today I came home from a weekend away and was suprised by the daffodils that started blooming while I was gone!
More crocus flowers...I love these 2 colors next to each other! |
HAPPY SPRING!
